Youth Red Cross (YRC)

1. Under the dynamic leadership of YRC counsellor Prof. Nirupma Bhatti, four female YRC volunteers: Ishu, Sanjana, Rekha & Isha participated in the State Level YRC camp organized at Haridwar from 5^th to 10^th Feb., 2025. In this camp, Prof. Nirupma Bhatti won the Best Counsellor Award
2. Ten volunteers, along with Prof. Nirupma Bhatti, YRC Counsellor, II&HS, KUK participated in District Level YRC camp at SKIET, Kurukshetra, organized by the Red Cross Society, Kurukshetra, from 24^th Feb to 28^th 2025. The team won the overall best team trophy.
3. Ten YRC volunteers, along with Ms. Manju Narwal and Prof. Nirupma Bhatti, participated in the University Level Youth Red Cross from 26^th Feb to 2^nd March 2025 organized by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.
4. YRC, II&HS, organized one day Yoga and Meditation training camp in association with Dept. pf Physical Education, II&HS, in Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra on 7^th April, 2025. In this camp, more than 700 participants participated. .
5. Poster & Slogan Writing competition was organized by YRC, II&HS, Kurukshetra University on 01/05/2025 on the theme Humanity and HIV/AIDS Awareness
6. One-day Basic First AID and Disaster Management Training was organized on 6^th April,2025 at II&HS, Kurukshetra University.
7. Fifty YRC volunteers, along with the YRC team, participated in World Red Cross Day organized in Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra on 8^th May, 2025.
8. 10 YRC volunteers, along with Prof. Nirupma Bhatti, participated in a state-level camp organized by Kurukshetra University at Dalhousie from 19^th to 23^rd April, 2025.
9. Fifty Volunteers, along with the YRC Prof. Nirupma Bhatti, II&HS, KUK, participated in Yog Mahotsav at Inder Dhanush Auditorium, Sector 5, Panchkula, Haryana on 27^th May, 2025.
10. 137 YRC volunteers, along with the YRC team, II&HS, KUK, participated in the International Yoga Day programme organized at Braham Sarovar, Kurukshetra on 21^st June, 2025. In this camp, honorable Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini honored Prof. Nirupma Bhatti for her Yog services.
11. Nirupma Bhatti, YRC, Counsellor, acted as a Resource person for Yog sessions in Inter State YRC Camp (16 states & 216 YRC volunteers of Bharat) at Punjabi Dharam Shalla, Kurukshetra, from 23^rd August to 28^th August 2025.
12. HIV/AIDS awareness door-to-door programme was organised by Youth Red Cross & Red Ribbon Club IIHS in association with ICTC, LNJP Hospital, Kurukshetra during Sewa Pakhwada on 27^th September, 2025 in Narkakatari village.
13. Haryana state Red Run was organised by YRC and RRC, II&HS in association with ICTC, LNJP, KKR on 16^th Oct, 2025. CPR training programme in association with the Red Cross Society, KKR was also organised on 16^th Oct, 2025 during CPR awareness week.
14. The YRC team of II&HS, KUK, provided their valuable services in the Ratnavali fest, 2025, organised by KUK.
15. Haryana Red Cross Team invited Prof. Nirupma Bhatti as a Resource Person in the YRC State-level Camp at Ujjain. YRC Volunteers Mohit, Ankit, Sunny & Tawinder of IIHS YRC KUK also participated in this camp.
16. Ten YRC volunteers, along with Prof. Nirupma Bhatti, participated in the KUK training camp Nov 2025
17. Twenty YRC volunteers, along with YRC counsellor Prof. Nirupma Bhatti, provided their services in Jyotisar during the honorable Prime Minister’s visit for Hind ki Chadar programme in Jyotisar on 25^th Nov, 2025.
18. Twenty YRC volunteers, along with the YRC team, provided their voluntary services in the International Gita Conference, 2025, organised by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, on 24^th Nov 2025.
19. Fifty YRC volunteers, along with the YRC team, participated in the meditation camp from 29^th Nov to 1st Dec,2025, organised by Haryana Yog Ayog, and also received appreciation from Haryana Yog Ayog during the International Gita Mahostav, 2025.
